For Ontario natives Trevor Fleming and Reid Stewart, Lifetime Collective has come a long way since starting as a basic t-shirts venture. Lifetime is more than just a clothing label; they’re a brand that houses a successful publication (Free Thinkers), a record label and are seasonal curators of music and visual arts. Curating a collective family – local and abroad – of musicians, video artists, painters, photographers and skate and snowboarders.

For the Spring/Summer 2013 collection, the Vancouver-based brand transports us to a sun-kissed tropical island reminiscent of Leonardo DiCaprio’s The Beach. And names in their collection appropriately evoke this warm weather fantasy: beaches shirt, Hamptons dress, Longbeach shorts, surfin’ under moonlight t-shirt and alone in paradise tote. And in true Lifetime fashion, this collection wouldn’t be complete without a little help from their friends.

The SS13 collection sees Lifetime collaborating with Poler Outdoor, a company that specializes in travel, skate, snow, bike and camp gear. Together the two created the flawless wardrobe camping kit: the Gobi jacket, the Tillamook tee and the Poler backpack – the perfect lightweight companions for trekking the islands of Ko Phi Phi.

Lifetime is a self-proclaimed “work in progress,” changing, evolving and being more than just a one trick pony. We can’t wait to see what surprises they bring next.
